About Me

People come to me because of some degree of dissatisfaction or unhappiness in their lives. They may have any number of concerns including: irritibility, frustration, worry, or depression, or physical symptoms such as restlessness, difficulty sleeping, pain or discomfort. They may know pretty well why they feel the way they do, or they may feel thoroughly confused. My focus is not limited only to treating symptoms, but also to making one's life and relationships really work. I am unwavering in my commitment to facilitating an authentic and lasting satisfaction in the lives of my patients and clients.

I schedule fifty minute sessions rather than 45 minutes which most therapists do. This allows for a higher quality session. I generally recommend once weekly sessions, although those who are able to schedule more often, are more likely to enjoy more profound changes more quickly.

My approach is results oriented, drawing on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness techniques. My guiding principle is that LOVE HEALS, and the FAILURE OF LOVE HARMS.
